Recently I have started to use their sister firm, Canterbury Kerb and Concrete, for all my concreting work and it is for exactly the same reasons as above. Matt and his team offer everything in the way of service that you would expect from Alan; good industry knowledge, competitive pricing, highly skilled, flexibility and quality assurance.
Overall, I cannot speak highly enough of both KerbworxNZ or CKC, they are my preferred contractors in both trade disciplines and I do not foresee this changing in the future. If you are not using either company, ask yourself why.

Taggarts have a great working relationship with Alan and the team at KerbworxNZ and CKC, we currently have many projects where the KerbworxNZ team will be onsite completing anything from standard kerbing, heavy duty beams, concrete yard areas and more detailed traffic islands.
Something that we all appreciate in this industry is a subcontractor that will take the lead when it comes to Health and Safety and I am very pleased to say that we have never had a problem with Alan’s team being compliant or debating the rules.
The guys seem to understand that it is in everyone’s best interest to learn about and assist with the site safety.
It’s quite refreshing to know that the standard of work we receive from Kerbworx is equal to the standard that we expect from our own staff – our clients deserve to get a great finished product without patches and repairs completed before we even hand the job over, we have a rule here at Taggarts that is quite simple “If a repair looks like a repair then rip it out”.
The client has paid for a new product and the last thing they want to see is remedial on the day of handover, this is something that KerbworxNZ are great at “Owning the problem” if for whatever reason there is something wrong with the kerb or other product supplied, Alan is very quick to get straight in and remove the problem area and replace it, this is one of the main reasons we will continue to use KerbworxNZ and they remain at the top of our preferred sub-contractor list.

KerbworxNZ, CKC and Frews have an excellent relationship, with the companies working together on many projects.
The most recent was a large commercial carpart at Christchurch Airport for the EBOS facility, which went really well.
KerbworxNZ and CKC also use our facility for purchasing hardfill and dumping material, so we enjoy a colloborative association.
Quotes are supplied promptly, with the pricing always fair and reasonable. Nothing is a problem. The feedback from our guys on the ground is that Alan is great to deal with and the direct communication between him and our team is excellent.

We approached Canterbury Kerb and Concrete (CKC) after the November 2016 earthquake left us with a patchwork of damage and movement to the paths, mow edges and parking areas at our home in Kaikoura.
Canterbury Kerb and Concrete had a site visit with a quote emailed two days later. Once the date was set for the work to begin they communicated and often kept us informed at all times.
The work team were respectful, informative and hardworking. We were overwhelmed and excited with a fantastic result and to get back to some normality!

I was thrilled with Matt and his team at Canterbury Kerb and Concrete who removed my aged asphalt driveway and replaced it with exposed aggregate concrete.
I was most impressed with the communication from start to finish and was kept in the loop at all times. Because of this I was well prepared for the best, and the worst, that can happen when a driveway is replaced. There were no nasty surprises though, or mess, and the team even did some extra asphalting on my vehicle crossing.
They are reliable, efficient and personable which means a lot, able to alter plans and fix mistakes.
I can highly recommend CKC to anyone looking for a concreting firm that will exceed expectations.
