In the Pink for a good cause

On 10 November 2018, CKC and KerbworxNZ were proud to be able to support the Pink Star Walk in Hagley Park, Christchurch.


During Breast Cancer Awareness month in October 2018 both the teams put in huge efforts on large commercial concrete pours in  Canterbury.

The idea came about when Alan's daughter sourced some pink hard hats. What to do with them? An employee suggested the breast cancer cause and Alan pounced on the idea. He floated it past the rest of the team at a monthly meeting and the response was overwhelmingly positive.

Alan was thrilled with the enthusiasm from everyone at CKC and KerbworxNZ and said he will definitely be doing it again.

And the results!!!......Alan's company were proud to donate $2,499.00 to the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ. A fantastic effort.
